So apparently my Uncle Mark and my Uncle Dave have formed a campaign for me to start taking more pictures... I am under the strictest obligation to do my part, and respond accordingly.

These pictures were taken at a black-sand beach about ten minutes away from our house. In the summer (December that is) the sand is too hot to walk on, but during this extremely freezing weather we're having, it's possible. ;)

Hey - so I found your blog on a friends sister in law's blog ...anyway, my mother is from tahiti. My dad served as mission president there from 2002-2005. I have a ton of cousins still over there and love that place like crazy. why are you over there? your'e making me miss tahiti alot!
wait...do you live in the mission home? I think from some of your pictures you live there...so i'm guessing your dad is the new mission president? Man I love that home! of course that's where my family lived....
okay yet another comment from me...just to let you know you're going to the same school my brothers did. they were just starting high school when they moved there. they are now fluent in french and some tahitian.
